Confinement Services in New York: Meals and Care at Home
This New York guide focuses on Chinese confinement meals from Flushing, prepared meal plans and postpartum home care in NYC, Nassau County and Westchester. It is a small selection for the New York City area; it does not establish local services in Buffalo or elsewhere upstate.
Provider websites and published prices were checked September 7, 2026. All amounts are USD. Golden Month publishes this guide and sells confinement nourishment products.

Prices, availability and address coverage depend on the booking. Unlisted charges are not assumed to be included.

Chen Mommy Kitchen: Flushing meal routes
Chen Mommy Kitchen's contact page lists free delivery in Queens and Nassau County. Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey carry additional delivery charges and tolls. The menu and contact pages reviewed for this guide do not establish a meal-package price.
Chen Mommy Kitchen's listed $30 charge is for a tasting by appointment, not a daily meal plan.
Welcome Home: portions and delivery schedules
Welcome Home lists a one-day trial at $135, with three-day plans at $350 and five-day plans at $475. Its FAQ describes three meals per day, each stated to serve two adults and one child; build-your-own orders start at $250. It offers general postpartum meals; a Chinese confinement menu is not established here.
Welcome Home's FAQ gives a Friday-noon order cutoff, Sunday hand-delivery and Monday shipping for Tuesday arrival, alongside broader fresh-delivery wording. Do not assume that a listed shipping destination is on the local hand-delivery route.
Home care in NYC, Nassau and Westchester
East River Doula Collective lists daytime and overnight support at $45–$80/hour, with daytime generally lower. Its stated area is NYC, Nassau County and Westchester, rather than all of Long Island or New York State. The published range does not establish your minimum shift or final rate.
Home-care matching should account for language, overnight rest, and how cooking or household tasks fit around infant care. A general postpartum doula listing does not establish Chinese-speaking yuesao care.
Boram's residential services are paused
Boram's website reports that its retreat services are paused while it shifts toward home care. That is a pause in the residential offer, not evidence that the whole business has closed. Its At Home page provides a home-care inquiry route; a complete price, territory and booking-terms comparison has not been established for this selection.
Scope and planning resources
Golden Month reviewed official menus, service pages, fees and inquiry routes and checked the listed offers against their sources a second time. The three listed providers cover different local needs; this is not a complete New York directory or a ranking. We have not booked or visited them or verified care quality, clinical licenses or insurance eligibility. This guide does not cover local providers upstate.
